Glaciers are the keepers of the past, Scientist can read from them the contition of our planet many thousand years ago. These glacier images show the lava dust from the eruption in 2010 of Eyjafjallajökull vulcan in Iceland. These lava dust will be preserve in the glacier for many thousands of years for the future scientist to read from as the ones do to day.
